If you really want you can play electrocute every single game and it's absolutely fine. Mejai still very good but usually it's better to just finish seraph's 2nd item as it gives you a lot of value compared to old version.Įlectrocute+precision remains the best runepage for Anivia and I pretty much take everything the same every game (precision dmg runes feel super weak so I almost always take tenacity even after nerf unless I get 0 value from it). With ROA + Seraph's you have a lot of hp/sustain so zhonya has a lot less value this season and you can just build damage as your 3rd item (rabadon/void staf/shadowflame) if you don't have specific reason for zhonya/banshee. If I'm ahead early and I can just fight 1v1 mid I might finish sorc boots before even starting to build ROA.
I probably play ROA as my mythic item 85+% of the games, opt for Liandry when your team has no damage vs enemy tanks (it's ok to go ROA vs tankier comps if you have other champs that are good vs tanks and your damage is still DECENT) and play Everfrost when you don't need that extra sustain and you get a lot of value from cc chain and burst (short range champions that u can burst together with your team/asassins)Ībout ROA build path - I don't necessarily try to rush ROA as soon as possible, usually on the first recall(s) I try to get tear, dark seal and boots level 1. With introduction of ROA and changes on Seraph's in preseason 13 (and then massive ROA buffs in 13.1) this became a very powerful core build for most mages and this is what you should be buying most of the games on Anivia.
